Finished with Undergraduate...

For the last few months I have been very sparse with additions to the blog. I have spent a lot of time in front of the computer, but almost all of it working on my senior thesis, which I finished and turned in last Friday. Strangely, the feelings I have had since have been very anti-climatic. I expected to feel some sort of exhileration as I turned in a portfolio for the last time, but it doesn't yet feel as though anything has really changed.

The weather today is georgeous, but I'm spending it inside, planning for graduation, and finishing my duties as Student Executive for the Friends World Program. In a few short weeks I will be leaving New York once again (even though it feels like I've only just arrived) and continuing my vagabond lifestyle with a move to the wilds of West Virginia to pass the summer months eating good food and apprenticing with artists. And then it is time to reasess my life as an adult. I have already begun deep contemplation, but haven't reached much clarity. I am looking forward to enjoying the trees, breathing fresh air, a few moments of rest and relaxation, and perhaps some creative writing...
